PEDIATRIC WARDS

Hospital can be frightening places for children. Most children associate a visit to the hospital with pain - sharp needles, stinging lotions.

Aware of the psychology of the child we have made our wards child friendly. The ambience is welcoming. The waiting room for the children is in fact a small play room with plenty of toys and things to amuse them. Play helps the child to make sense of the experiences that he is having. It helps him to be brave when he/she is being examined by the doctor.

The pediatric ward at Pragna has 50 beds to accommodate children requiring in patient attention. There are 8 pediatric wards dedicated to intensive care.
